Horticulture 1This course is a great class for beginners to learn more about plants and the horticulture industry. Topics to be covered in the class include leadership, careers, plant physiology, soils, nutrients, fertilizers and pest management. You will also be working hands on in the greenhouse and around the school. Supervised Agricultural Experience programs and FFA leadership activities are integral components of the course and provide many opportunities for practical application of instructional competencies.
